What we dont put in our mattresses is just as important. We do not use any formaldehyde or fire retardant chemicals during production.

Padding and Wadding
All babyhood padding and wadding is made using heat bonded polyester fibre. Polyester fibre is a great form of padding and provides a firm and elastic sleeping surface for your baby. There is no foam in our mattresses. We do not use foam in our mattresses because it is toxic for baby as it omits fumes which may impact on an infant’s respiratory system. We also do not use foam as it is highly combustable and requires the addition of formaldehyde and fire retardents. There are no fire retardents of formaldehyde in our mattresses.
Why heat bonding? We use heat bonded fibre as this process utilises less chemicals and reduces your baby’s exposure to harsh chemicals used in other chemical and petroleum methods of bonding.
Fabrics
All babyhood fabrics are cotton which are not treated with any formaldehyde or any fire retardant chemicals. The fabrics used on the innerspring range are all OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Approved giving you peace of mind.
Springs
The babyhood Innerspring Range uses high quality Bonell Springs which provide exceptional support for your growing baby. The specially designed superior quality bonnell springs with tempered steel frame for orthopedic support to baby’s body through their head, neck, back, spine and intervertebral discs.

A fantastic mattress which was exactly what was written on the description. Very good value for money. Will definitely be using this site for future purchases!!! Our baby will be able to use this mattress for a good few years as the quality was so high. The postage was a little expensive although the product reached us in rural nsw in 2 days which was amazing service. Very happy customer.

Very happy with this mattress and the prompt service I received. My baby is sleeping well on the mattress and it is exactly as described. It feels firm but comfortably soft for baby. The only thing I would note is that it is a very snug fit in terms of width for my cot, which is due to the fabric “piping” around the edge. The cot rail rubs on it every time I put it up or down, but I think this may have been a problem not matter which mattress I chose. I particularly like that the cover can be unzipped and washed.
